MESSAGE FROM AGENT

  • As a sync agent, I need to be granted permission to pitch songs, which means that a musician must sign a sync agent agreement each time a song is submitted, granting me the rights to represent a track on their behalf. I can’t present the song to anyone unless it is added to my music boutique through a signed agreement. I only take 25% of the upfront sync fee.
  • The agreement can be for 1yr, 2yrs, 3yrs, depending on the length of time the musician chooses for the song to remain in the music boutique for representation.
  • I only represent songs at an EXCLUSIVE LEVEL, meaning the song can’t be represented by any other sync agent or library. If you have a sync deal with your music distributor, I can’t represent the song, so make sure you double-check if you selected this option when you released your music.
  • Songs don’t need to be released/streaming for sync, but if they are, that’s ok too.
  • As a sync agent, I have no control over the selection of the song. I’m just pitching music to music supervisors who might or might not give feedback on the music that I submit to them. THANKS FOR READING. YOUR MUSIC SYNC AGENT, NOEMI CAPOTE :))
